Alice Cao
Alice is an artist, writer, art teacher, and Rhode Island School of Design alum with a deep passion for education. She hopes to bring her creativity and dedication into Booya's programs to make learning fun and engaging for everyone.
Louise is a successful entrepreneur and prior high school teacher. She is dedicated to create a school that gathers the best talents in a range of disciplines, so students could receive high quality education in any fields of interest and grow into well-rounded, confident individuals.

Our Teachers
Mar is an award-winning interdisciplinary scientist and educator with over 30 years of experience in scientific field work and education. She has taught Science and Math in Canada and overseas and worked as a National Geographic educator, provincial numeracy assessment examiner, and Science Fair judge for many years. Her main passions are bridging across cultures and disciplines, fostering collaboration, active engagement, and creating a learning community based on respect where students feel included and empowered to be explorers and critical thinkers.
Andy is a brilliant and dependable high school teacher with many years of experience in Math PreCalculus, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. He also tutors SAT, AP, and IB Math for upper grades. He is dedicated to provide high-quality, interactive, and inquiry-based learning and help students achieve their goals and full potentials.
Kathleen is a BC certified teacher who received her Master of Mathematics for Teachers from University of Waterloo and her double major in Statistics and Economics at the University of Toronto. She has taught in both public and private schools in Canada and overseas. She has many years of experience teaching high school math, IB DP Math and AP Calculus. She is also a IB assessment examiner.
Randa is a dedicated, trilingual and TESOL certified Instructor with a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and 4+ years of experience educating students in public high schools and language schools, in Canada and abroad. With a passion in education and professional proficiency in English, French, and Arabic, she inspires in her students a love for learning languages.
Asal is a brilliant French instructor with a deep passion for teaching, a Master's degree in French Language and Literature and a certificate in teaching kids and teenagers. She has over 7 years of teaching experience with different ages and levels, ranging from kids to university students. She is also well-aquatinted with exam prep (IB, AP, DELF, TCF). Her bright, outgoing personality and engaging lessons won the hearts of all students.
As a teacher born and raised in Mexico City, there is nothing Diana enjoys more than sharing her language and culture with others; this passion drove her to become a certified Spanish teacher. Her experience working with students of different ages, levels and backgrounds enables her to effectively tailor her lessons according to students' needs and interests. Her B.A. in Communication and Journalism and experience in television and advertising also allow her to incorporate lots of creativity in her lessons, making her classes fun, engaging, interactive, and well-loved by all her students.
Natalie is an Ontario certified teacher who specializes in teaching students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. She has taught in many different elementary schools in both Canada and in England, and have also been teaching online for over 4.5 years. She specializes in teaching English as a Second Language and also have a passion for Art and Science. Her teaching style is creative, interactive, and student centred. She often uses inventive games and hands-on activities to engage the students. Her favourite thing about teaching is helping her students build their confidence and enjoy their learning experience. It is the most rewarding job there is!
Michelle is a BC and Quebec certified teacher in English Language Arts, Social Studies and Mathematics. She has worked in elementary and high schools across the country, as well as in Thailand, with more than 5 years of experience. She is outgoing, passionate, and dedicated to engage her students with dynamic, interactive and fun lessons that will instil a love of learning in everyone.
